Named PIX, in reference to pixels, the mascot was launched in a number of shapes along with a aeroplane, film digital digicam, sheep, submarine and even the Loch Ness monster.
Described by the UK group as “dynamic, pleasurable and educated”, the mascot is created from purple, blue and white developing blocks.
It was designed to evoke every ideas of childhood creativeness, developing blocks and innovation.
“Born from a child’s creativeness and their toy developing blocks, PIX symbolises the developing blocks of innovation,” acknowledged UK commissioner primary for Expo 2025 Carolyn Davidson.

Set to occur in Yumeshima Island, Osaka, from 13 April to 13 October 2025, the UK could be represented on the World Expo with a pavilion designed by Woo Architects.
“PIX is about to perform all by the UK Pavilion experience, charming visitors with a treasure trove of pleasurable information regarding the UK and Japan, and channeling the spirit of exploration, humour and innovation the UK is known for,” acknowledged the UK pavilion group.
Along with the mascot, the UK Authorities unveiled an updated design for the pavilion at the moment.
The updated pavilion could be coated by perforated aluminium panels as a homage to the enhancements of English mathematician Ada Lovelace.
The Expo has been masterplanned by Sou Fujimoto Architects, which is creating an unlimited wooden ring that encircles the nationwide pavilions.
